Study on the Spatio-Temporal Evolution and Influential Factors of Green Innovation Efficiency in Urban Agglomerations of China

Promoting green innovation efficiency in urban agglomerations (UAs) can help to ensure the sustainability of China a competitive but fragile post-industrialization era. This paper applies Super Slacks-Based Measure model (Super-SBM) measure 19 UAs from 2006 2018. Then, it examines spatial-temporal evolution characteristics perspectives geography and economics. Furthermore, spatial econometric is also established explore influential factors efficiency, as well its regional differences. The results reveal following: (1) From perspective temporal differentiation, most presents fluctuated increase during study period, located east are more ideal. (2) As for number high value level relatively stable, southeast coastal performs core stepped pattern “east > center west” clear. (3) A significant positive spillover effect does exist China, effects relative vary across regions.
